We offer guests several different levels of Stylists to choose from, classified by their years of experience in the industry, level of advanced education, and time with our company. All Rigsby Frederick stylists complete education, ateliers and evaluations before being promoted.
Artistic Director Rigsby Frederick is the President and owner of our company. He has more than 40 years of experience in the beauty industry and serves as mentor to every level of stylist in our salon, as well as to other salon owners throughout the country. A true master of his craft, he has created and actively shares his Design Form Function method of haircutting and his Soft Sculpture approach to hair and beauty design.
Elite Educators and Elite Executives are our most experienced hair stylists. They must have at least 10 years of experience in our company and maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Elite Educators also act as educators within our company, have assistants they are helping to train, and serve as mentors to the rest of our staff. They play an active role in our ongoing in-salon educational system.
Executives are experienced hair stylists who are continually attending advanced educational classes and may have an assistant they are helping to train. Executives generally have six or more years of experience with our company.
Master Stylists have 3-6 years of experience in the industry and attend advanced educational classes throughout the year. They are actively working on mastering their craft.
Stylists have 1-2 years of experience in the industry and have graduated from either a high-quality hair academy or our Apprentice Program. They are still receiving education within our company, as well as attending national shows and classes to expand their repertoires.
Residents are new to the industry but have graduated from a top hair academy and are assisting our higher-level stylists while attending weekly classes to perfect their skills. They are actively working to develop their clientele.
Apprentices are in a 2-year program working towards receiving their license. They serve as assistants to our licensed staff and take models on specific days to develop the skills they will need to succeed as hairdressers.
